I have been seriously painting for 25 years and painting when time permitted before that. I prefer watermedia because of its versatility. The underlying criteria for my painting satisfaction are that the painting should be happy and pleasing to my eye.
I spend 2 weeks painting on Mackinaw Island and have several new paintings created there. I look forward to posting these new paintings after their finish.
I went to Italy June 2009 .and Paris in 2010 and have enjoyed painting some scenes from there. I have tried them in all lmedia---watercolor, oil, and mixed media. My
computer ineptude may provide you with images not of the exact color or intensity. Everythinglooks very bright on my monitor--they looked fine on my old screen.
I revisited Paris in September 2010 and am spending winters in Florida (guess I am THAT age?). I keep painting!
